Paint Session

The reality is photoshoots can be stressful when you’re the one getting your picture taken. Between deciding what to wear, to how to style your hair, & then coordinating the whole family, it just can feel like a lot. Then add 2 toddlers to the mix & you just have no idea how the sessions going to go. I’m a big fan of keeping it simple & making sure it’s fun. We finalized these plans the day before the session. White shirts, paint, applesauce, we got this mama!

Creating a fun, care-free environment is often what makes for the best photos. I loved that we picked something these sweet girls love to do & are all about right now. I love that this family went all in on the painting & were covered head to toe by the end & I love that we captured genuine smiles & excitement the whole time (when I say whole time, these were all shot in just under an hour, which if you’ve ever photographed toddlers before, you know its amazing we lasted that long!)
